Agilent E4440A w/Preselector (PSA)

  I have found an issue wih the PSA when using the preselector in ‘filter’ mode.  If the PS is in filter mode and a start frequency of 30MHz or stop frequency of 1GHz is commanded (even from the front panel) the result will be a ‘compressed’ 10Hz span at either 29.999MHz or 999.999MHz.  Example: [...]
